This diploma is a competency-based qualification where the candidates are required to gathers substantial evidence as they undertake their regular work role to form the basis for their portfolio. Collected evidence must reflect on the policies and procedures of the workplace as stated by current government legislation. Ideally, candidates must work with at least two service users during their Our assessors use various assessments methods to examine work products, expert witness testimonies and direct observations. 

In addition, you will be assigned an assessor who will visit you at your workplace at some point and undertake observations. Meetings with your assessors are planned to minimise disruption to your work routine to collect as much information as possible in one visit. Knowledge-based units will be assessed using various methods, including reflective accounts, projects, assignments, assessor questions and professional discussions. Candidates will have full access to assessor support via telephone, email, Skype, and web links.
