Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Training Course

Healthcare courses online

This COSHH online training course teaches you about dangerous substances as defined by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH). It will provide you with the information you require to identify hazardous substances in the workplace and understand the COSHH regulatory obligations.

After completing this programme, you will be able to conduct a COSHH risk assessment and understand the various control methods that may be adopted to mitigate the hazards that hazardous substances might pose.

Cleaning personnel are likely to come into touch with hazardous substances, which can be hazardous to themselves and others if the risks are not appropriately managed.

This COSHH online training course is also designed for Kitchen staff and Domestic assistants and gives workers who do cleaning tasks the understanding they need to recognise the hazards that hazardous chemicals might pose and how to control them. You will learn about the legal obligations that employers must meet in order to comply with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002, as well as what workers must do.
